I wouldn't say 1/3 ... but there were a FEW stinkers.  I LIKE Spock's
Brain, Way To Eden .. very campy!

All were a cut above "average", IMHO

In the 2nd season there were GREAT episodes:

A Matter of Honor
The Measure of a Man

and a few good ones:

The Child
Elementary, Dear Data
Samaritan Snare
Up the Long Ladder
The Emissary

Perhaps "too cerebral" for you ... I found DS9 excellent, almost from
the very beginning. Colm Meaney was probably the best actor of the
ensemble cast, and Michael Dorn made things interesting

Well, that last comment is telling ...

Though I watched every episode of all 7 years, I feel that this entire
series is "crap", and should be (somehow) stricken from the memory of
Trek-dom

TAS was very well done.  I still watch them on a DVD I made of them a
bit over a year ago.

Since I had a DVR when Enterprise started, I was able to make up my
own set of DVDs.  I've not yet rewatched the entire series, but then,
there's no hurry.
