TOS: From "Amok Time" T'Pau: Live long and prosper, Spock. Spock: I shall do neither, for I have killed my Captain and my friend." TOS Films: I get sort of choked up as the Enterprise leaves spacedock in STIII:TSFS, knowing she is about to be blown up. In my mind it is a metaphor for Kirk's willingness to sacrifice everything in the name of his friendship, his love, for Spock. Of course, the death of Spock in STII:TWOK and Kirk in ST:GEN are also very moving. TNG: The ending of "The Inner Light" is almost more than I can bear. DS9: The death of Sisko's wife in the pilot. VOY: When Harry Kim crossed over from the alternate universe carrying the infant Samantha Wildman. ENT: Trip's nightmare of his sister's death. -- The Merry Piper [http://tmpiper.livejournal.com] If you want to dance, you'll have to pay ... me! .
