We've never seen ridged Vulcans. That might not be entirely true as we seen TNG's "Gambit Parts I & II" a Vulcan female (posing as a Romulan in Baran's pirate gang) who has ridges. Whether this is a disguise or not is never made clear, but we should consider the possibility that she has the ridges naturally. -Mike .
