Your regional bias is showing, ya know... The Bills, as usual, have a great defense (even when they're not a stellar group, their defense is usually at or above par), but are still plagued with the "we just need to fine-tune our offense" garbage that we've all heard too often since the Superbowl years. It's a bit too early for mobs, fires, and looting, as we beat the HELL out of the Patriots in our opener with Bledsoe and then pretty much tanked the rest of the season by only being consistent in being inconsistent (of course, we DID have Captain Fumble himself, Henry, running the ball into the hands of the defense over and over again. I'm NOT missing that guy at all). Wait and see if we get into the playoffs. I doubt the fans will get that crazy-motivated until and unless we do. There's been WAY too much completely undeserved hype in recent years, notably including the whole Bledsoe craze which was just silly. We told the guy he was a superstar, treated him like one, and he stopped feeling the need to actually BE one, earning it. It's a better, MUCH-improved team now, sure. But it still has to earn its accolades in the face of an awful lot of foolish administrative failures that cost the team big-time in recent years. Oh, and I think it'd be nice to rely a bit more on actually scoring touchdowns and less on kicking field-goals, but I won't knock a 15-point win purely on that basis. --- þ Synchronet þ Necropolis - necropolisbbs.darktech.org .
