The breaking of bed was institued by Jesus at the Last Suppe N> where the Lord instituted the rememberance of His sacrifice with bread N> wine until He comes again. Mo, he did nothing new at the Last Supper (a normal Passover Seder meal) except offer a new interpretation for the Bread & for the Cup of Redemption. Outside the oral traditions, there was no blessing before meals (the Torah specifies to give thanks(grace) after eating and that's all -- Jesus obviously received the oral teaching of saying a blessing before breaking bread. When, after the resurrection, he appeared to the fishermen and ate with them the Greek says that Jesus took the bread, broke it and "blessed"(no object, although the English translators were loathe to accept that alien grammar construct so they provided one "..it") The modern terminology in English would be, "Jesus made a blessing("berakha") (the understanding always is of blessing God, not the food) N> (1) Jesus was and still is God and perfect Man. His whole life was pro N> of His divinity and human perfection. On what basis, consistent with the OT, do you claim this? N> (2) Forgotten a birth? I doubt if you accept His divinity from any N> standpoint. Of course not.
