No, I didn't miss your point, I simly disagree with you. Works are not 'natural' expressions of Salvation. There are many who have Salvation but lack works; therefore lack of works does NOT mean lack of Salvation. In Revelation 22:12 Christ says, "Behold, I come quickly, and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be." Entrance into Heaven (Salvation) is not the question, but the 'reward' which the Christian will recieve in Heaven for works done on earth, the 'crowns' we will cast at the feet of our Lord who redeemed us (Revekation 4:10). Salvation is by grace alone. The reward received, however, is based upon works, which will be tested and their quality reveled at the judgement seat of Christ. > > N> Catholic theology that makes works equal with Faith. The 'fruits' > N> (works) of a believer do not save Him, it is the 'blood' of Jesus and > > Where/when did I say the works saved anyone? > I said the saved one has works -- quite a different concept! > That is simply NOT True. The saved one may NOT have works, but, he STILL is saved eternally. You are making works the means of Salvation when you say 'works' determine whether you are a member of the 'elect'.
