The Gospel was already given in Jeremiah, or so Jesus quoted!

The Law included Grace -- "for as many times as a man stumbles, and repents, I
will lift him up"  Paul teaches that if one becomes a Christian and
fails(stumbles) there is no forgiveness for him.

He came to give us something new.  He came to save us by faith
N> Him.  He came so that men might hear and have an opportunity to chose whethe
N> they will accept Him or reject Him.

You talk of faith as if it's all that's needed -- have you read the book of
James?

And how could you say Jesus brought something new when he himself vehemently
denied doing such?
