Subj : Does God Require????

I read a post today that asked something to the effect of "Do we have to obey
God's rules in order to obtain His love?" And I have been thinking alot about
this lately. The answer is no, God loves us not matter what. Some scripture
verses that support this are listed as follows:

Romans 8:32 "He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all,
how shall he no with him also freely give us all things?" The scriptures also
say that God is not willing that any should perish, but that ALL would come to
Him through his son Jesus Christ. God does not Condemn us to eternal
separation from Him. We condemn ourselves by rejecting His Love. Which was sent
to us in the physical presence of Jesus who is called Christ. 

Back in Genesis when the scriptures tell how God created All things, it says
that He created Man in His image. We were perfect initially with free will.
God said that he gave us all the fruit of the trees of the Garden of Eden to
eat from except the Tree of knowlege of Good and Evil, and the tree of life. He
gave us dominion over ALL of the creatures of the land, sea, and air. He
created us, and we were His most cherished creation.

Satan, who was a fallen angel, sought to take the place of God. He decieved
Adam and Eve into eating from the tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil by
twisting God's words Read in Genesis 3:1-13 " Now the serpent was more subtile
than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the
woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? (God
never said that) And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit
of the trees of the garden: But the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of
the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it,
lest ye die. And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For
God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened ,
and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. And when the woman saw that the
tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree
desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave
also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. And the eyes of them both were
opened , and they knew that they were naked; and the sewed fig leaves together,
and made themselves aprons. And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in
the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from
the presence of the Lord God amongst the trees of the garden. And the Lord God
called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou? 

And he said I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was
naked; and I hid myself. And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast
thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?
And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the
tree, and I did eat. (Adam shifts responsibility to Eve, rather than face the
consequences of his actions) And the Lord God said unto the woman, What is this
that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did
eat. (Now Eve shifts the blame to the serpent, the serpent alone is not to
blame, but Adam and Eve are also to blame)


Now God being true and just has to honor his word, Death must come of the
actions of eating from the tree of the knowlege of Good and Evil. Due to the
original sin of man, ALL MEN MUST DIE Physically. The result of dying in sin is
a second death, spiritual death. God being just and righteous and loving
offered us a way out of this second death, into which we can have spiritual
life, and spend eternity with him, as was his original desire and plan. This
way out comes in the form of the Body of Jesus Christ. God becoming man, to die
for the sins of ALL men, that believing on Him, we would have eternal life.
