1. Sipowicz - perhaps the only reason to keep watching once season 7
ended
2. Martens - a real paradox.  he was a straight guy, to the point of
helping out those who he didn't like because they weren't as straight,
but he knew when they were in the right.  "Everything is a situation."
3. Kirkendall- the strongest female character.  Terrifically acted and
completely believable even when she was being dragged through the mud.
