I've sent money in just like tens of thousands of other Americans. And I'll probably send more with all the horror stories I'm still hearing. America has responded to this tragedy like no other, because it is clearly the worst natural disaster to ever hit the US. I told someone that it's like someone took a knife and stabbed part of the country, and now the rest of country has to help heal the wound. There is plenty of blame to go around (and I know who I blame), but for now I'm trying to remain as positive as possible and know that America always exceeds expectations. I think America will succeed in bringing back that part of the country long before people think we will. Just know the parts of the country not directly affected do care and will help do what's necessary to help make things right. TC .
