By about the third balloon battle, I was hoping that the Lexx would
destroy *both* planets and the series' writers with them.

I did really like "Xevivor" and "A Midsummer's Nightmare." And I liked
all the humor and satire of the 4th series. But the whole "stuck on
this one planet" thing wore very thin (as it had in the 3rd series). I
think this was probably a budget consideration (much cheaper to film on
contemporary Earth than to fly around from planet to planet each week).
But I think they could have spent the money a little more wisely, to
offer at least a *few* new planets.

Those were the two best of a bad batch, though I still have nightmares
of Barry Bostwick in a *WAY* too short toga (even worse than the
gold-lame' spandex he wore in "Megaforce"). The stuff with Stan dealing
with being a security guard was funny, at least.

The only part of that one I liked was Stan's encounter with the Time
Prophet (especially the reaction of the guy whose fortune she was
actually supposed to be telling).
