I first saw Lexx late one night on the Sci-fi channel (U.S.). I was
only vaguely aware that it existed during its actual run (remember
seeing the occasional Sci-fi channel promo for it, which completely
misrepresented it). But one night I saw a rerun of it on my Tivo's
lineup. The episode was called "White Trash" and their was no way I was
going to miss a sci-fi series with an episode called "White Trash."

So I started watching the reruns and quickly fell in love with it. More
accurately, I fell in love with the 2nd season/series (even bought the
box set from a Canadian seller). The 3rd season is annoying and
repetitive. The 4th season is just okay. And the "1st season" movies
are absolutely horrible (my God, I've never felt so sorry for an
obviously drunk Rutger Hauer, who used to be such a great actor).

I'm sad that the series ended. But, let's face it, they had already
long-since peaked (both in budget and quality) with the second season
anyway.
