Here is an email I just got from our director:

"To all,
 
We are aware of a possible situation in the Baton Rouge downtown area.  We 
are taking steps to assure safety of the employees and will advise as soon 
as we have further information."

And this is 10 minutes ago from the newspaper website:

"Update at 10:30 a.m.: City-parish[1] officials are shutting down the 
governmental building and Courthouse in downtown Baton Rouge due to 
security issues. More to come."



[1] parish = county for non-Louisianians
