There was a whacko like her elected to the bench here in Raleigh.  She was 
eventually discovered to have been involved in some unethical behavior 
(conflict of interest) and was retired to a 'winger farm-league in Virginia 
where she lived on the Republican soft money dole for a while.  I don't know 
what became of her since.
