I said 40 years because I believe everyone knows about Kennedy's and 
Eisenhower's exemplary military service.  I am unfamiliar with Carter's 
however, but since he is a democrat I am sure you can paint me a glorious 
picture of how he single-handedly took the beach at Normandy while the 
republican members of his unit hid in the water and breathed through reed 
stems.
