Um, I was quoting Southpark, but in looking for the exact quote I have noticed people use the Southpark reference as their single rationale that the movie is a bad movie. I actually liked Contact, it was the first DVD I ever bought, however IF you make a book/movie about contact with Aliens then there ought to be some Aliens in there, somewhere. I think the current trend of using humans with no makeup, prosthetics, etc, to be the "hidden enemy" aliens among us is going to get old fast. I am equally wary of forehead of the week aliens, a la trek, I like the balance Farscape and Firefly had. -- "Do not seek to follow in the footsteps of the wise. Seek what they sought." --Basho .
