You can set up some beautifully intricate structured deals for buying players. On the fee paid to the club alone, options include:- Up-front fee Fee paid in monthly installments Fee after number of league appearances Fee after number of league goals Fee after number of international caps Percentage of next sale Buy-back clause Include player exchange Arrange friendly And various other stuff. It's actually possible to sign or sell a player with no money changing hands at the time the deal is completed. Sadly, they've tightened up the AI so it's now pretty much impossible to sucker a club into accepting a deal where most of the money is in International Appearances for a player whose only chance of playing for his country is if every single other player in his position has a freak injury all at the same time.
