As a comparison, show them Alan Hansen. Note how his nose is intact,
although he has a rather fetching scar on his forehead that he won't
let the BBC's makeup people cover up.

If you really want to shock our colonial cousins, show them that shot
of Terry Butcher from that qualifier - you know, the one where he's
sporting a fetching red bandage and is the only member of the England
Squad wearing a pink shirt.
