I remember an article in FourFourTwo (IIRC), that ran a feature showing
pictures of various trophies from the world of football. It was quite
interesting to see the difference in sizes. It may have been this
article that mentioned the 'Inverse Trophy-Size Law', which states that
"the size of a trophy is inversely proportional to the importance of
the competition."

By this reckoning, The Ashes is the most important trophy in sport.
