I have to admit, Al's humor is too sophomoric for my tastes, but he is cathartic (for those on the left), and the research that goes into his books is impressive. He is one of a dwindling number of people who understands the importance of backing up arguments with verifiable facts (versus twisting the facts to support one's agenda). I'm not sure it carries over to his radio show (which I've barely listened to), but it's certainly evident in his books. Gave me new respect for a Harvard education. If only TV news departments would again spend money on research teams -- and they could start by tracking down and hiring the kids who once comprised "TeamFranken." Back to the UNC chick - it's sad that she doesn't understand what she did wrong. And if this becomes a political football, it'll only reinforce her distorted view of what journalism should be. - TNW [To e-mail me, remove 12345 from my address.] .
