Well I am allergic to chocolate and don't eat sweets. 
 I was reading a story about MacMillan,(ex-brit prime minister, war 
hero,first not second, and a very intelligent bloke.) He was famed for 
not being the most approachable of people, not because he was 
particulalry fierce  just that he wan't good with people. The wife of a 
prominant Tory was given the job of "humanising" him. At one dinner party 
with various dignataries as guests she noticed that all conversation at 
his end of the table had ceased. So she wrote a note and got it passed up 
the table MacMillan opens it, reads the note, write something. The note 
is duly passed back Under here original comment of "say something" was 
his reply, "I did." You could hardly imagie somebdy like that ever being 
elected now despite his obvious skills. In fact the inclusion of Ken 
Clarke into the tor party leadership campaign and that people are taking 
his bid seriously is an example of this.
