That's the heart of film noir and many of the movies listed contain giant heaping helpings of moral ambigousness. (I'm surprised Momento isn't on the list.) Even Saved, a purely satirical movie lets some bad guys of and brings harm to some of the good guys. And some of the bad guys are really well meaning in the final analysis. .
