This is a common complaint, and I still don't think it applies. When you take away the cuts and play it forward in time the viewer gets absolutely no sense of what the main character is going through. It is that sense of disorientation (which is so simplistically done that it's near-perfect) that is a major part of the plot. It is used in a way that it becomes more than just an editing style, it is *the* defining plot point. It tells the audience more about what is going on in the main character's head than any other event. Like a voice-over, some POV events can't be simply removed if you wish to be left with the same movie you started with. -- Tyler Trafford People who have no faults are terrible; there is no way of taking advantage of them. .
