Oil shock (They're talking gas ratoining, people) is breaking like a storm surge that will raise the prices of everything. Wages are stagnant and inflation is rising. The dollar is being kept afloat by our primary rivals and God's President has thoroughly fucked the national budget with record deficits and crony undermining of every government agency there is. Never mind hte impact on the US fuel supply form katrina. The entire Mississippi basin is the main highway for raw materials and agricultural products out of the vast central portion of the country. It all flows through NO to and from ports in that tiny region. The economy is fucked. .
