So maybe I'm being a bit touchy on this but after just reading reports from German newspapers yesterday indicating that the U.S. 'deserved' Katrina due to our contribution to global warming, I find I'm not very tolerant of comments like that. Bad on my part, perhaps but still: tsunami washes over one part of the world and it's the tragedy it actually is; hurricane destroys an American city and it's 'too bad, you guys f**ked yourselves so no sympathy for you'.
