I'm arguing Clinton and Bush did what they did to stay out of Vietnam, 
Bush put 5 more years into the system in doing so than Clinton did.

And yes Kerry's record was better than both, but one doesn't vote on war 
record alone.

You know I watched every debate excvept Cheney Edwards, and I was waiting 
for Kerry to win me over... it never happened. In 2004 I felt that I knew 
how Bush would react to things, there have been some Doh! moments since 
then, and you're fully justified in blaming cronyism for many of them.

I'm also still waitng on Social Security and Medical Lawsuit reforms.

I also have the nagging feeling that Kerry would have been a lame duck 
with all the Republicans in Congress. But we'll never know. 

I think I've said this before here, I would have voted for Clark in a 
heartbeat just on his CNN appearances during the Iraq war alone.
