While the PEW poll on the president's performance is pretty much
divided along party lines (hardly surprising), there did seem to be
more agreement as to their view of state 'n local officials.

I think that'll probably pick up steam when some network reporter
hotshot actually asks the governor of Louisiana why she waited until
two days after the levees broke to have her National Guard commandeer
buses for the planned evacuation of the Superdome, only to realize that
those same buses were underwater.

Isn't it amazing! Unprecidented negative coverage of Bush, lowest
approval ratings yet and he STILL BEATS KERRY!

Doesn't say much for most people's view of Kerry. :)

Ken - who actually thinks Bush should take some blame, just not as much
as the Mayor of New Orleans & the gov, who were the ones that really
screwed up.
