When I lived in Johannesburg, South Africa back in the 1980s I used to buy food for the street kids begging around the all-night store near where I lived. It pissed them off. They wanted cash to buy glue and play video games. Unfortunately - or possibly fortunately - for them there are limits to my charitable feelings. And they were kids - I'd guess an average age of 10/11. But remember you are making a value judgment about the people you are trying to help. You may be right - but you shouldn't pretend you didn't make that decision. I'm afraid I sometimes get philosophical when I've had a couple of beers. (hic) -- SB .
