Actually, you're combining two crazy Cruise stories :) Tom Cruise did stand on a couch, proclaiming his undying love for Katie Whatsherface. He got verbally defensive, almost abusive, with Matt Lauer on Today regarding antidepressants and how Matt Lauer hadn't researched them as much as Tom Cruise, Ph.D. ;) .
