Subj : One Soggy Night To : alt.tv.er From : darrenthornton Date : Fri Oct 14 2005 00:34:57 From Newsgroup: alt.tv.er This show is usually best when in a crisis mode. Considering recent episodes, they should be doing quite well. How come County never gets closed during bad weather? Tonight's adventure was mostly a pleasant one. We got some interesting cases, a little humor, and good interaction with cast members. However, things remain below par. Too many plotlines were quite obvious. C'mon now, you have to posess some intelligence to enjoy this show. We can handle some challenges. It was good to have Kerry back in the trenches. She actually didn't return calls from the head doctors. Wouldn't that metal crutch be dangerous in this weather? When was the last time she mentioned Henry? Eve did come off as her soul sister. We got a good argument with Kovac over treating the baby. Wasn't Cleo the last pediatrician in the ER? Romano directed. He should have slipped in a quick cameo. How about a quick reflection in a mirror? For a little Gaslight effect, which one cast member should see him? Neela showed more spunk. Talk about Writing 101! Did anyone else think that the bad guys would turn up at the end? The husband sure changed moods. Spare the flames. She didn't want a nanny, yet was anxious to get back to work. Where did the shrink come from? Pratt had a quick cameo. Morris offered more comic relief. Frank sure is nosy-and cranky. The staff should demand a decent coffee shop in the hospital. Poor Jerry got struck by lightning. He looks like an ideal target. I can sympathize. While I've never been struck, I've had trouble with watches and the milk cooler. It's been awhile since we've seen Haleh. When is she working all that overtime? We rarely see her anymore. Is Connie still on the show? Ray is still a loose cannon. Who would you want to see get snake bit? He might want one for his stage act. Poison Control is definitely no place for humor. It looks like Neela has a ride along in her future. That's another ER rite of passage! Abby sure got a lot of shake juice. Don't throw coffee, especially the expensive stuff, at someone! Please stop her from hooking up with DuBenko (sic?) He gave us the week's gross out moment. Did you notice his finger gesture? Couldn't Abby bring sexual harassment charges? Did anyone else notice that she, the therapist, and wife had similar hair colors? It was no surprise that Abby asked for help. Why in the world would she offer an ear to him anyway? The halo's on too tight! Eve is still a big meanie. Yea for Sam's unnecessary tell off! Sam deserves some overtime pay for doing a great job tonight. Shouldn't Eve have observed more than one shift before making the earlier change? Hopefully she won't be on much longer. At least she tried to work with Luka. Give that new nurse a chance! Let her learn! Luka had his hands full. It was nice that the girl woke up. He'd be the best doctor to give someone bad news. Wouldn't that driver be guilty of vehicular homicide if the dad dies? Someone close the blinds! A few folks would have let the son strangle the guy. At least Luka didn't take a hit at him. This was an OK episode. I still miss Susan. Please don't rely on guest stars! Save them for sweeps. If Eve is a temporary character, who will be the next nurse manager? Why not Sam? I just hope next week gets better. Sincerely, Darren Thornton .
