That's definitely been one plus to this season, so far (the screencap function has been getting a real workout). > I liked Dr. Coburn; Amy Aquino really did a good job > here. It was a sweet idea to sit with the baby, but wasn't he still supposed to be on duty down in the ER? (Or at least I don't remember him saying "Well, my shift is over. I think I'll spend my own free time sitting here so that this baby doesn't have to be alone, even though he wouldn't know the difference even if he *could* see past his thumb.") > And the friends told Abby that they were skipping school. Though I was amused to re-view that part of the tape and notice that the half-sister seemed to be checking him out just before Daddy announced that Greg was his son (and, therefore, her half-brother). They're the same crop of really-stupid-interns... or at least Babinski and Clemons are. I don't recall if Abby's intern was the Bouncy Intern from last week. > (Though todays POV is probably more realistic. Blood, espeically O-neg > blood, is not an unlimited commodity.) But then we wouldn't have had that lovely "I'm standing in a big empty set" echo effect when he was calling for them, to indicate that they were already gone (thus leaving a Big Cavernous Hole in his life, blah blah fishcakes). Besides, it's not like there's that much in the place for him to trip over (except for that toy on the stairs, and for some reason I think Sam was the one who put it there). I wonder if his little family photograph is among the framed pictures in the background of that opening scene, or if it's still in its same old spot in his wallet. .
