I am not so sure of that. If the surrogate was told that things could go wrong and she didn't take the c-section option, even if things were ok, I would still be very mad if I was one of the biological parents. I would tell the surrogate that even though things worked out ok, it doesn't make her decision any better because she was still taking the chances with MY baby (that I would have to raise not her). I would have probably lodged a complaint for breach of contract and brought light to the issue (yes, even if the baby was fine).
