Yes Unkie Copter, I agree. However, I couldn't help but notice, and be bothered by, the inexplicable concentration on SKG in this episode, whom we of course all hoped had simply vanished from the face of ER. With the single exception of Mark Greene, whenever a well liked character leaves, they're just gone one day and never heard from again, and that's it. But in this episode, we have a universally disliked, creepy serial killer who was at best a bit player anyway, and suddenly: - He's inexplicably sending cards to the ER, which nobody else has ever done, especially interns that didn't match. - Abby inexplicably gives a damn. Inexplicable of course since they were barely "fuckbuddies"[1], and Abby told him to leave. I also noticed that Doogie Hauser can't act his way out of a wet paper bag. He can't even deliver that last line of his (the one about "his first night alone") without that permanent smirkiness of his. Reminds me of a very bad early Carter. Also, did anybody else notice that the guy from Lethal Weapon played Pratt's father? I wonder why they didn't promote that more. -- Dropping T.
