The other day, my 3 year old nephew had to sleep in my bed and I was ready for a non-sleeping night but was surprised to learn that I must have gotten used to the noises and the movement (no doubt due to co-sleeping with my dog the past year) and that I could sleep fine with my nephew there. I actually got a decent night sleep too (well, at least until he decided that 6:30am was awake time and I was thinking more like 10am). .
