Our first was 4 weeks early as well and was jaundiced. Doc just told us to 
pick up the nursing. More, more!! All three boys were jaundiced at birth. 
The last two were term babies. Doctor said sometimes it's a genetic thing, 
but in any case the best thing was to nurse frequently.
