I'm sure that the actor's start on ER was part of why he got another show. 
However, it's not always the money that is the deciding factor. On ER he ws 
only a recurring character with very little actual screen time over all. 
Sometimes good opportunities come along that utilize your talent better that 
make the move a good career choice.

Too early to judge. I wasn't floored with the season opener, but I'm looking 
forward to these upcoming cast additions.
