I am a lifetime learner and I love listening to others experiences so that I 
can learn things from them (especially parenting stuff since I plan to have 
kids in the future).  In my past life (well, a year ago), I started working 
at a parent educator (yes, even though I am not a parent).  This job alone 
gives me sufficient experiences in parenting and understanding many of 
parenting dynamics but I have also had many years of living with children 
24/7 as a kind of "second parent" figure which has really opened my eyes to 
many things about parents, children and parenting that I feel put me at an 
advantage over many non-parents.
