For her daughter, it was definitely a comfort thing and she needed the comfort when she was two. She has gone on to be quite the social butterfly, who excels in gymnastics and is currently in the high school play, where she is a freshman. My other friend breastfed hers until about 3. She is currently on baby #7. Her children have all turned out to be strong confident people, too! I think she even breastfed her first son, way past three. I can't remember now if she did actually tell me how long or not. It might have possibly been up to 5 or 6, but it certainly wasn't his only form of food, at that point and probably also was a comfort thing! I didn't know her back then, though. He is currently 20 now! Dawn .
