Actually I think you probably were.  The rest of us were yelling, "WHY 
DID THE WRITERS DO THIS TO US?!?!?!!"  I was watching it in the kitchen, 
and I actually began sobbing over the sink.  I ran the water....

You know, now that you mention it, she should have probably pulled over. 
  Well, wait, no, then how would she get to Colorado and magically find 
Alex Sargent?  I mean, it's not like she had a guy with her that could 
have driven a few thousand miles, which she could then just totally blow 
off at the end of the episode.
