Like I said in another thread, stupid scene, NOT because the kid is 'too old' (and of course, being able to 'ask for it' certainly does not make a kid too old -- many toddlers are fully able to ask), but because the writers have, yet again, decided to portray breastfeeding for laughs/squirm-factor. (Think "Chuck nursing Cosmo" last season.) Just once I'd like to see a mother nursing a baby while sitting in chairs or waiting for the doctor in an exam room -- without a big deal being made about it. Naomi .
