I once compiled the following program: AM> CLEAR AM>which resulted in a 300K+ executable..... I can relate to that. Smile. I once wrote a program, 14,628 lines and was 338k executable. But when I ran it and opened the databases I was out of memory when searching or viewing records. I had to break them up, 14 overlay files for 178k, 2 executables for a total of 542k, grand total of 720K, it worked great for couple years with additions but the database grew to much for it to handle it. I loved that program, we had about 7 people that accessed it on the network with record locking and such. Those were the days, now if I can do that in Visual Basic I'd be all set. Have a great day.
