Why is it the country's responsibility to bail out New Orleans faulty 
construction?  New Orleans KNEW about this problem for decades.  It should 
have been New Orleans' NUMBER ONE priority.  It wasn't.  

Why should I have to pay taxes to prevent fools living below sea level 
from being flooded?

IMO, it was never the federal government's responsibility to shore up New 
Orleans.  That would be like me paying taxes to give everyone in Kansas 
tornado shelters.  If you don't like the threat of tornados, don't live in 
Kansas.
