  I was wondering, In Florida when a serious Hurricane is approaching and
  evacuation starts to look like a REAL GOOD IDEA. Does the state Request
  or recommended that the population evacuate or do they issue a requirement
  to evacuate.

  I was just wondering, I don't live in an area where hurricanes are a big
  threat. My weather station only recorded about 1/2 inch of rain here as
  Katrina went by with 20 to 30 mph wind gusts.
