Are you saying that local governments should submit requests for aide? Did you
not se many of these parishes are no longer there!

Don't the people of New Orleans deserve the same treatment as those in Florida?
They had plenty of aide when the last huricane came thru and they didn't have
to wait days for it either.

WTF!!?? 

The huricane is a special instance. It's an EMERGENCY! Emergent measures were
needed to be rolling BEFORE the storm hit land. There was alot of things that
could have been done to prepare for aiding victums/survivors.

If I was in NO, I wouldn't care if they were wearing 'JACK-BOOTS' or tennis
shoes. As long as they were there to help!
