Please re-read my posts. I am speaking of luxury items only. The three examples I stated were automatice car starters (do you have one of those? do your neibours?) electic garage door openers, combination espresso, cappuchino, coffe makers. I later added two-person jet tubs to the list. My point is that I can stop buying luxuries and still maintain a lifestyle I am very comfortable with. Once again... I speak only of luxury items. I am not speaking of electricity. I am not speaking of petrolium. I am not speaking of anything anyone could conceivably have any problem with not having. I am speaking only of "extra" things people purchase because they have extra money and feel like a good long soak while sipping a cappuchino in the tub with their wife while the relaxing jets massage their body... without needing to periodically add hot water. Just before the soak is done, then then open the garage door and start their car before towelling off, hopping in the car and going for a cruise to find a place to park under the moonlight. --- þ Synchronet þ ``Penguins make tasty snacks'' .
