If crude were to hit hither-to unknown prices (well not so unknown as it seems) then maybe. But once it's capped (as you have described it) there is no renewing that well, you will be drilling a new one, in a rather poor field I would guess. You sound as if you have experience on drilling riggs. College/summer work? I worked on the East coast South of Houston for a few years.
