Just look at computers. I just saw an ad on TV for a reasonable machine for $249 (after rebates). it will be so for the energy industry too. The government could make it even easier with some incentives for research. R&D being the big hurdle. Anyway oil in the ground is finite. Can't get around that. Sooner or later the world will have to deal with this problem. The Chianesse will just be ramping up their fossil fuel economy only to have to switch to whatever else they can.
