"something needs to be done to get this country > away from it's dependence on fossil fuels". We all agree Ralph but the problem is most Americans don't spend much time thinking about how much energy is consumed in this country in a 24 hour period. It's a lot, the fossil fuels provide BIG power. All the so called replacements just can't step up to the plate and offer the same power for the same cost of current equipment that runs on fossil fuel. One reason the recent energy bill was such a let down. It offered NO incentives in any area for using alternative energy. Government won't even lead the way. Why should we feel like we have committed the Cardinal sin.
