There are exactly two alternatives available to me: 1) Propane (fossil fuel) 2) Natural gas (currently a fossil fuel) A natural gas conversion currently costs $8000 Canadian. It would pay for itself after 10 years (!). A new natural gas vehicle costs $28000... it would never pay for itself. There are no other alternatives NOW. I'm keeping my eyes open for a used natural gas powered vehicle... I'm not holding my breath though. --- þ Synchronet þ ``Penguins make tasty snacks'' .
