Here in Kingwood, TX, (A suburb of Houston), we have Home Owner Associations
that prohibit the usage of solar panels.  They think that they are too
unsightly and would bring down property values.  I wanted to add a solar
panel on my roof so that I could heat up the pool and be able to use the
pool for more days out of the year.  However, the local pool supply who sold
the panels cautioned me about the HOA regulations.  Very sad.
